1. Introduction

Welcome to AI Daddy ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application AI Daddy (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Profile Information: When you set up your profile, you provide a nickname and select a personality preference. We do not require your real name, email address, or phone number.
  • Chat Messages: Messages you send to the AI chatbot are processed to generate responses. These messages are stored locally on your device.
  • Agent Conversations: Messages you send to AI Agents (Study Buddy, Health Coach, Document Analyst, Career Advisor, etc.) are transmitted to our backend for processing. Your most recent message and the agent's reply are saved on our backend as your agent history, so you can reopen a result later. History is linked to your account and is deleted when you delete your account.
  • Files & Documents: If you upload a file (photo, document, PDF) to an AI Agent, it is transmitted to our backend solely to generate a response. The file itself is not stored, indexed or retained after processing; the text of the request and the reply are kept as agent history as described above.
  • Reminders: Reminders you create (manually or AI-generated) are stored locally on your device.
  • Settings: Your preferences such as language, voice style, and notification settings are stored locally on your device.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: We may collect general device information such as device type and operating system version for app compatibility purposes.
  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics such as feature usage frequency to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Real names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Location data
  • Photos, contacts, or files from your device (except files you explicitly upload to an AI Agent for analysis)
  • Payment or financial information
  • Biometric data (fingerprint or face data used for app lock is processed entirely by your device's operating system and is never transmitted to us)
  • Your main chat history with the AI Daddy bot — that stays on your device

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (AI chat, reminders, tasks)
  • Generate personalized AI responses based on your conversations
  • Improve and optimize the App experience
  • Send you local notifications (reminders and check-ins) that you have opted into

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: All personal data (profile, chat history, reminders, settings) is stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite databases and SharedPreferences.
  • AI Chat Processing: Chat messages are sent through our secure Cloudflare Workers backend API to an AI language model service for generating responses. Messages are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on any external server.
  • AI Agent Processing: Messages sent to specialized AI Agents (Study Buddy, Health Coach, Document Analyst, etc.) and any files you upload to agents are transmitted to our backend API solely to generate a response. Neither the messages nor files are stored after processing completes.
  • Privacy Mode: The App includes a Privacy Mode feature that, when enabled, prevents conversation data from being used for AI learning or improvement.
  • Biometric App Lock: If you enable biometric authentication (fingerprint or face unlock), all biometric verification is handled entirely by your device's operating system (Android BiometricPrompt). We do not access, store, or transmit any biometric data.
  • What is on our servers: your account (email, display name and a hashed password if you created one, or a device identifier if you did not), your AI token balance and usage, your agent history, scheduled tasks and agent subscriptions, your app preferences, and a push token if you enabled notifications. All of it is deleted when you delete your account.
  • What stays on your device: your main chat history with the AI Daddy bot, your reminders, and your local settings. Uninstalling the App removes these permanently.
  • Backend Security: Our backend runs on Cloudflare's global network with HTTPS encryption. API requests include rate-limiting and session management to protect against abuse.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare Workers (Backend API): Our own backend service runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure and handles routing of AI requests, rate limiting, and session management. No personal data is permanently stored there.
  • AI Language Model Service (LongCat): Your chat and agent messages are sent over HTTPS to LongCat to generate a response. They are processed in real time and are not retained by the provider.
  • Brave Search: When an agent needs current information, the search terms — not your identity — are sent to Brave Search.
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: If you enable push notifications, a device push token is stored on our backend and used by Google to deliver the message.
  • Resend: Delivers account emails such as a password reset code, only when you request one.
  • Text-to-Speech: The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine for voice features. No audio data is sent to external servers.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5a. AI Agents and File Processing

AI Daddy includes specialized AI Agents (such as Study Buddy, Health Coach, Document Analyst, Career Advisor, and others). When you interact with these agents:

  • Your messages and any uploaded files are transmitted over HTTPS to our secure backend API for real-time processing.
  • Files (photos, documents, PDFs) are used only to generate a response and are not saved, indexed, or shared.
  • Agent responses are delivered in the language you have selected in the App settings.
  • Agent conversation history is stored locally on your device only.

6. Children's Privacy

AI Daddy is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require any personally identifiable information to function. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Your chats and reminders are on your device and visible in the App. You can request a machine-readable copy of what we hold on our servers — account, agent history, subscriptions and referrals — by emailing us from your registered address.
  • Deletion: You can clear your local chat history, memories and profile at any time in Settings. To remove everything on our servers as well, delete your account from Settings or at our deletion page. Uninstalling the App removes only the data on the device.
  • Signing out: Signing out ends the session on our servers, not just on the phone, so a token copied from the device stops working.
  • Notifications: You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the App's Settings or through your device's system settings.
  • Privacy Mode: You can enable Privacy Mode to prevent your conversations from being used for AI improvements.

8. Data Retention

Data on your device (chat history, reminders, settings) is retained while the App is installed and is deleted when you uninstall it or clear it in Settings (Clear Chat, Wipe Memory, Reset Profile). Data on our servers (account, agent history, tasks, preferences) is retained until you delete your account, at which point it is removed permanently. Standard security logs generated by Cloudflare may contain IP addresses and request metadata and are purged within 30 days.

9. International Users

AI Daddy is available in 14 languages and can be used worldwide. Data held on our backend is processed on Cloudflare's global network and may be stored in different countries. Messages sent for AI processing may also be transmitted across borders. Everything is transmitted over HTTPS.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
